The #5490 has flexiwire, which is fantastic for those women who cannot stand an underwire but would like the shaping and separation an underwire bra provides. It's very secure along the top, so if you have fuller, softer breasts, you may push a little against the edge of the cup. As long as you're not spilling over enough to show through your clothes, that's perfectly normal for this style. The #5490 works great for soft tissue because it hugs so well at the top and the center is much deeper.
